Bali, Indonesia

May 2016 + May 2018

Full Highlight Films – Bali 2016/Bali 2018

We have travelled to Bali, Indonesia twice in the past two years.

Our favourite thing to do in Bali is jump on a scooter or a local boat, and immerse ourselves in the culture and surroundings of this amazing island.

Doing this makes you feel more like a local, and you find yourself seeing places you never thought you would see.

You can find secret waterfalls, cascading rice terraces, unique temples as well as local markets and villages.

Some of our most memorable adventures include snorkelling around an underwater sculpture in Gili Meno (which is actually in Lombok), climbing down a cliff side ladder to Kelingking Beach in Nusa Penida, and jumping off a waterfall in Sambangan Village.

After we have finished exploring, we love to watch the sunset at a beach bar with a few refreshing cocktails.

We most definitely recommend some of the “La” bars in Canggu and Seminyak.

La Laguna reminds me of a fairytale with it’s gypsy vibes and caravans, whereas La Brisa makes you feel like you are inside a shipwreck on a deserted island.

We absolutely love Bali, it is every travellers dream!

If you’d like to see our adventures from these two trips in Bali, check them out above!

Love, Caitlin & Brayden
