We started as high school sweethearts, and are now celebrating our first year of marriage.

After graduating, we bought our first home in 2014 and settled down for adult life.

In 2015, we adopted our first fur baby – Axel, the Siberian Husky. We fell immediately in love, and soon after adopted his sister and best friend – Colbie.

After two years of working full-time, we soon realised that the everyday workforce was not fulfilling for us.

This was when we began our travels, and picked up a new “fancy” camera to take along with us.

In December 2017, we jetted off to spend Christmas in New York, and New Years in Canada.

On the 29th of December 2017, we postponed our plans to explore Banff National Park due to the -25 degree weather. Little did we know that this would lead to the most magical day of our lives…

We caught a bus to Lake Louise, which was so beautiful it rendered us completely speechless.

Brayden wedged our camera into the snow, and in ice skates we trudged our way out into the middle of the lake for a “couple photo”.

This was when he got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him.

This moment will forever be in our hearts, and we are so lucky to have caught it on camera (even though it was in slow mo haha). Right after the proposal, we had a mini panic attack when the camera froze (quite literally, it had been sitting in -25 degree snow for 10 minutes), but the stars aligned and our good ol’ GH5 came back to life. We will keep that thing on our mantlepiece until we’re old and grey.

When people ask us why we love this art, we always think back to this day.

On the 28th September 2019, we were married at the beautiful Tuscan inspired Redleaf Wollombi. This day felt like an actual fairytale, like we had stepped into an Italian countryside dream. Our outdoor reception under festoon lights came to life, and we danced under the stars until the night turned cold.

Two days after this, we were off on the adventure of a lifetime – a 5 month honeymoon around the world! Ticking 12 countries off our bucket list, we experienced everything from sunrises in Cappadocia, to sunsets at the Great Pyramids of Giza. It was a trip that we will never forget.

This brings us to present day, as we are currently releasing a film and photography series of these amazing travels.

We hope we can help capture your special moments, too.
